Snow Leopard

Snow Leopard
Photo: Hilde Jensen, University of Tübingen

This ivory figure is thought to be a snow leopard due to its slender shape. These animals still exist in Siberia. The head is slightly bowed and the ears are laid back. Perhaps this animal is lying in wait for its prey.
