Finds from Felsställe

Felsställe

Felsställe is a large rock-shelter situated west of Ehingen next to the Danube and near the village Mühlen. This Ice Age site lies very beautifully in the Mühlen valley between the gentle hills of Upper Swabia to the south and the more rough and rocky Swabian Alb to the north. From 1975 to 1980, Claus Joachim Kind applied modern excavation methods at the site and gathered finds from the Magdalénien to modern times.
